Hi All,

 

Interesting experience happened today when I went to open the door to get out of the car the metal interior door handle snapped off in my hand.

 

Has anyone ever replaced one of these? Is it just the door handle or the whole console where the door handle is that needs to be replaced?

 

Is it a simple job?

 

Other than ebay and breakers any ideas where I might get hold of one?

Just looking for photo's from when I had to replace my window regulator back in 2015, but not of them really help.  This is the nearest, showing the cable that hooks onto the handle:

 

 

My memory fails me, but I thought the handle separates from the door card quite easily.  Getting the door card itself off is very straightforward.
