Hi I just bought a octy ambiente and i am looking to raise the front clearence. Should i use spacers or change the coil springs. which is the best option:rolleyes:

Hello, try the springs designed for the Indian market - I think these are higher and tougher, although maybe they're already on your (Kenyan) car.

Rear springs from the 4x4 certainly wouldn't fit.

Hiya Gichy and welcome from a fellow Kenyan (albeit one that now lives in England) Im afraid I can't help much on the clearance issue but obviously understand why you would need it with the roads out there ... I take it the roads aren't improving

BTW whereabouts in Nairobi are you - I used to live in Rosslyn near Westlands. Also lived in Eldoret for quite a while, Naivasha and Malindi ... dad was a civil engineer so we moved around a lot when I was younger .
