I was looking at the site that tells you if your car is needed for a recall for a safety fault. ( www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-recall)  for info on a different car.

I put the reg in for my four month old Superb and it tells me that there is an outstanding recall. Surprising as it's a new car.  Is there anyway I can look up what it is?

Pick up the phone and ask the Service Desk person at a dealership what the RECALL is about.  & why the Car has not been RECALLED and the Registered Keeper received a RECALL Letter.

Or even mention of a Recall Campaign / Recall action.

This on the Gov.uk site does tell you what the RECALL is about.   SAFETY CRITICAL.   So Skoda / VW UK should get a move on contacting you if your car needs checked.

In the main menu on the MIB3 there's a tile for service campaigns.

If you select that does it inform you of any outstanding actions linked to your VIN?

The navigation/infotaiwnt unit.

If you press the menu button, there's a tile of the main screen for service campaigns.

Last week I arranged a service for later this month along with a replacement engine cover………dealer called me back 10 minutes later with news the job will take longer than expected because of ‘another’ Skoda update, he did say something about a heat mat but was very vague about where and why.

i did check the .Gov site but no mention for my 2022 model.

Well wait and see.

Checked my 2020 (69 plate) and I have a recall now, I assume for the DSG thing as none of the other superb recalls ever showed up before when searching using numberplate. Booked in for Wednesday next week to check, was told I can still drive the car it's "not likely to explode"
