Real world mpg figures for 1.5 Monte Carlo

Featured Replies

Anyone?

I'm assuming mid 40s over short urban and longer M-way commutes. The Internet is somewhat sparse thus far in this info. I managed 42-43 in a Karoq that I owned a few years ago but probably skewed as I grew to irrationally hate it and hammered it over certain roads.

Go to spritmonitor.de where you'll probably find a fair bit of crowd-sourced data. Just need to pick a language and enter the details of the model of interest to you.

Jeez, that's pretty disappointing. That's my cost reduction business plan scrapped then, back to the Corolla Hybrid.

I've just ditched the Corolla, for other reasons. It's way over priced for a pretty grim drive train, slow, and ridiculously noisy tbh.

My Monte does very well on fuel, I don't do much town driving but it is around 20mpg. Cruising around 55mpg but

I do like the acceleration and use it as often as I can (shades of Mr.Toad) The two cylinder eco mode is a joy

as long as the traffic is moving smoothly.
