Fiat Croma 2.4 Multijet

Featured Replies

Saw one of these today and I must say I really like it

Always been a big Fiat fan and this does look nice, especially as it ticks the following boxes for me:

It is an estate

It is an auto

It has a reasonably grunty diesel engine (200bhp and 400nM)

I can get it for under

Are you mad? Get yourself a 1-series - you know it makes sense :P:rofl:

far cough! :haha:

£17128 from broadspeed , so you can play with a lot of the options.

I think they look ok and seem fairly well put together.

I'd be very suprised if you got the 47mpg they claim for a 2.4 diesel auto though

Was lookin at the Grande punto Diesel, & saw 1 in showroom, it looks HUGE, but the brochures do not show it as having 5* encap :(

So it begs the question - Is it still made from recycled baked bean cans ? :D

The Croma has 5* NCAP so fairly safe

Dash looks too plasticy and it's well expensive for a Fiat....IMHO.;)

Like the Punto Grande...front looks liek a min Masserati(sp?)....good price as well.

You'll be wanting a Ford S-Max....interior is HUUUGE....dash looks quality although I would've liked it better if they didn't use so much silver plastic. ;)

I'd have a used Volvo V70 for that .In fact £19k gives a lot of alternatives to a big fiat.

S Max is nice Adrian, might well be tempted by them but they are at full list at the moment.

Multijet?

Don't know what it looks like but if its anything like the multipla  i'd give it a wide berth

If it wasn't the fact it has a diesel power unit, I guess it would be worth about 50 pence in three years time though (especially the rate of mile that you clock up)!

But with Jon's mileage most of his cars are probably worth very little anyway :) I reckon its probably worth a go ... as long as you can do some research and find a decent dealer that will be able to do warranty & servicing work

Got offered £6500 for mine yesterday  and £6000 last week. Feck, it's appreciating! ;)

So, an L&K registered Feb 2004 with 120,000 miles on is now worth £6500. I don't reckon that is bad really.

Got offered

I know, it's mad isn't it and it's not as if I was looking at cars which don't shift from showrooms (Merc and Honda) so pretty good.

At least if I get the Fiat I know I'll get an estate

Plus the S-Max can be got with the tasty 2.5turbo and suspension from the crocus ST ;)

Just had a look on Fiat, looks quiet nice:thumbup:

It would be the dealers that would worry, having had experiance with them in the past.

Quite true, but not so good for 60k miles per year Col, plus it's not being discounted yet
