fuel pump relay location search

Featured Replies

Good day,

I own a Fabia 2011 1.2 and recently I thought my battery died. I replaced it and still it dies every few hours.

I performed a multimeter test on each fuse and got to fuse 20 which dropped the electric consumption.

I did a test and left the car parking without fuse 20 in place and indeed the battery survived. Looking at the manual, the cause MIGHT be the fuel pump relay but I can't find its location.

Would appreciate your assistance. I would like to get the relay replaced and see if that solves my issue or it's another part that's also depends on fuse 20.

1.2 diesel or one of the several 1.2 petrol models?

Fling me the reg number or VIN if you want quickest answer.

That would be the petrol model. 104hp.

There's a fuel pump control unit, on top of tank (under rear seats), I believe, rather than a relay up in the dash area.

Feed to it from fuse 20 is a red/black wire.

I tried looking for it at the left panel of the steering wheel like in a few vids but I guess the model is wrong.

trunk-wise, I didn't see any opening panel there but I'll check once I get back to it on Sunday. Thanks!

Not in trunk, under rear seats, I think.

Lift up seat base on right side of car to find access to top of fuel tank.
