Etka parts finder

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I need to replace a few parts on the front of my 2017 1.6TDI SE Technology DSG estate (combi).  I was given a link to ETKA, where I can look at build plans.  However when referencing the parts I require, I have found there are several variants with a different letter suffix.  In the remarks section, there are different codes which I believe may relate to the vehicle variants.  How do I find out which code is relevant to my car?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The codes you reference are called PR codes and a build sheet of your car can have a few hundred.

If you PM me your vin I can supply a full print out for your car.

But it also depends on what ‘etka’ you are using as many are out of date and won’t have the latest parts and superseedings on there.

If you wanted to tell me what part you are after I can find the exact newest part number for you.

ifinterface.com looks quite reliable and up to date. For instance, Superb Mk4, seems to be already in their database.

Typed that in got some developer site, nothing about Skoda.

Errr... I've been using this site for almost 20 years. I'm a Skoda owner since 2012, always found OEM Skoda P/N on this website when needed.

Maybe a mistyping?

As suggested above, share your VIN with @ApertureS (or me) and your car data (full list of PR codes) may magically appear in your inbox.

Then most ETKA-echoing sites become workable for you.

@KR15PY

As far as I understand the fuzzy 2nd screen shot, You don’t go far enough

Try this path:

Welcome > Free services > CarProg2

Then select what is relevant in the different drop down menus (brand, model, model year, components group)

Yeah, thanks.  I have done this with @ApertureS and he has been very helpful. Which is appreciated and why this group is so good.

Thanks, I see what you mean now, though still having issues but I think it might be cos I'm using a phone. Will try on a laptop later.

Yes, it works much better on a PC (easier to read and ´surf’).

Forget the phone…

I find this catalogue very handy, they sell bits too.  Don't bother putting in your VIN though, it doesn't filter the results accordingly.

Aperture, I know I am dating myself, but I used to find a small print in the boot area with the codes. I could not find such in the SIII.

Is the VIN the only way to access the build data?

The sticker in the boot will only contain about 10-20 pr codes whereas the cars nowadays have a few hundred.

Skoda stopped putting the build stickers in the cars a few years back I think, didn't they?
