Hi - is it possible to replace the standard DRL bulbs (fitted in the main lighting unit) with LED versions?

2014 Octavia 1.6 TDi Elegance.

On a 2014 the DRL bulb is an H15 that also includes the main beam filament.

 

Replacing the bulb will almost certainly alter the main beam alignment, possibly in a way that cannot be corrected and hence cause glare to oncoming drivers.

 

Plus finding an H15 bulb that is CE marked, and hence legal for use on the road, will be "difficult" - oh and also the headlamp itself is not type approved for any bulb type other than Halogen...
