I need your help.

I am planning to retrofit front camera to my Octavia A8 2021. As the windscreen need to be replaced I think I will buy a camera from AliExpress.

Bit my questions.

Do you think that is is possible without a fsec code ?

I have the swing autoradio so no Maps bit I am looking to add line assist , prevent collision so no big add.

I have an obdeleven with pro plan . Is that ok or I need to go to a Skoda workshop.

 

I am planning also to add front radar

Have you got tons of money ! it will cost a fortune, poss cheaper to buy a car with it all on

Yeah just buy another car. 

@East_Yorkshire_Retrofits what do you think is that possible without an fsec code?

My car has the camera and I have a piece of sticky back plastic covering it - it saves me having to switch of lane assist every time I start the car.

Skoda won't be able to help you 

You'll need the necessary software activations and an ADAS calibration. We can assist with both, or carry out the jobs in full

 

The activation code's feature up to 8 features. So the same one could be used for the features on the camera and the radar, with some spare.

I'm sure your insurance company would be overjoyed to find that in the case of an accident, nice easy way to wriggle out of paying out

I'm sure your wife will love to hear your explanation of why she has to live with a broken neck because you opted to let the car decide when to apply the brakes, and you got shafted up the rear when the car braked for no reason.
