Possible to ‘upgrade’ KESSY Fob?

I’m sure everyone knows by now that the Karoqs manufactured after approximately 2019 have the newer keyless fobs which disable themselves if left idle after a short period of time.

My question is is it possible to simply purchase a newer fob (obviously will require coding) to get this feature on a pre-2019 Karoq, or has anyone already purchased a new fob for there older Karoq?

Hi again Hoping for some more good advice! Cam belt is at 40K ,5 years approx. I know there is a lot of controversy around timings of cam belt changes,and it seems the precautionary principle is the main view.Expensive principle but fair enough.I was having the belt changed because I could occasionally here a low rumble at tick over. Thinking tensioner pulley or something potentially very nasty. However,the rumble disappears when the clutch is pressed,and on my VW T4 I was told a new dual mass

Hi , hope someone can shed some light on a this . On an 2021 Octavia fault says. The regeneration frequency of Diesel Particulate Filter is not ok , says the fault is permanent . Car is due to go for software update , would this have something to do with it. Thanks

Hi everyone, I’m a relatively new member here but I’ve been maintaining my 2004 Skoda Octavia Mk2 (1.9 TDI PD) as a "time capsule" with only 21,000 miles. It’s my only car, used for social/domestic/pleasure, and I’m looking for some advice on insuring it as an enthusiast/modern classic.
