How to show Google Maps (in Android Auto) to display in the Virtual Cockpit?

Featured Replies

Hi All - Wondering if its possible to display Google Maps (in Android Auto) to show up on Virtual Cockpit, similar to how inbuilt Maps from Skoda works?

Cheers,

Shoubhik

Not possible as far as 8 know. One of the views does show basic directions and street name though.

I looked into this briefly before. Form what I understand, the Google Earth license the Skoda and the rest of the VAG group expired and was never renewed.

As above, not possible to get Android Auto maps on the VC.

U can only show the factory built-in maps.

Hello , this is possible , you need to install jilleb toollbox and onebits mqb rendering program that uses vnc server to send video to the cockpit.

I also noticed when Waze is on, the screen defaults to "normal navigation", while Waze is shown on the main display.

Camarao (which I assume is Camaro, as in'69 😁) that looks brilliant! Sounds gibberish to me, what cool though!
