I have buy a superb 2021 

 

Now i have problem with myskoda connection.

 

I register car in app and now app show that there is needed activation.

 

Procedure is now in the car…i have two keys in car as says app.  I am logged in there.  Then i must be the master user so i click on car screen /becom a master user/ And then there is an error. So i cant get to be a master user.  
And i cannot get myskoda to work.

 

Can somebody help me?

 

MySkoda is free for the first year, and on some newer models for the first 3 years. If you haven’t paid the subscription it won’t work on a 2021 car.

Thats it. I didnt pay. I cannot find where i can pay subscripsion. I just have not this option anywhere.

Yes

 

And i have no option to renew anything.

 

When i click activate  throws up that must become a master user.  And i cannot become a master user.  Idont know why.  
 

So i think thats the reason that i cant buy a subscription.

Wierd…  What if there is old user still connected?  But i think there is no lte connection anymore in car.  
 

Probably must go to the skoda dealer.

If the old user was still in the system and it doesn't ask you to log in when you start, would you not  have access to the shop on screen?

In this link i cannot login with myskoda email and password right? So no i cant acess this page…and there is no register option.

 

On car screen i see Shop icon, but i cannot acess it. It does not open anything 😞

When you set up the Myskoda app on your phone did you confirm your email address with the email they sent?

 

It might help if you go to the Skoda website and look at the user manual for your model year

And then i click yes  and circle come in (loading)  for more than 15-20 minutes.  And then says error.

Should on picture left from the clock be a lte icon and bars for signal?

A step closer:)

 

I buy now dataplan for my car.

Transaction was sucess.

 

But up at the picture is some error message.

 

And car after i activate is the same. No lte and cannot be master user.

 

 

I was hoping you would have started at the top of the screenshot rather than the bottom before paying out any money.

 

I have found another thread that may be useful.

 

 

There is a possible solution from @LiamXCIII halfway down.

 

 

To get the car a better signal is it possible you could connect the car to your home wifi or tether it to the mobile phone by making the phone a hotspot?

I have kept digging for answers,

 

Another possibility to force a reboot of the infotainment and simcard system is to remove fuses 12 and 17 in the dashboard fusebox for a few minutes.

 

But I cannot find confirmation that it works. Or if it will create other problems.

I have see today that my car has take data from sim card.

So it has connection with web.

 

 

I had the same issue with my new car. 

I was a bit "quick" for the dealers liking when I picked up my car & had already tried to connect as the main user before the "handover" guy arrived as he was with another customer & had the same error.

 

He activated something in the Skoda system at his desk & then it worked at the next attempt.

I too have had the same issue since I bought my car nearly 2 months ago.  I tried a few times to connect when I first bought it but haven't bothered to try again for a while.  The dealer made a courtesy call after I bought the car and I explained that I had this problem and he said I could book the car in so that they could sort it out, but it's 40 miles each way to their garage in Swansea, so I'll wait until I need to be in that area.
