Anyone know rough times from build to delivery. Mine was built last week and last update from dealer yesterday was in transit from the factory

Hi CDP10W I'm not sure it works the same way for all cars but, ours was week build 9, W/C 24th February. It was at Port of Exit (Embden) on 11th March, Port of Entry (Port of Tyne) around the 20th March, arrived at the dealer 27th March and we collected on 28th March. We managed to miss the Expensive car RFL supplement year 1 to year 6 by 3 days so I'm still smiling. I think they only use Port of Tyne for the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

I've got the 85 Edition which is meant to have the walk away locking, but it doesn't seem to do it. Does anyone know if there's a setting to enable this, or should it just work?

Mine doesn't work either. ☹️ Can't find anything in the manua about walk away lockingl. I'll have to talk to the dealer.

Found it! Go to car and on the page where you can spin the car round, spin it so it shows the side. Press “opening and closing” and a menu opens up with all the settings for locking and unlocking.

All working now!

Thanks mattnorris72. Found it as you said, easy to activate but I'm not sure I want it now. Everytime I walk into the garage, the car unlocks and then relocks when I walk out again. Need to either disable it or not have the keys with me. I guess leaving the keys in the kitchen is the sensible option.

Today was my turn..collected my 85 edition Elroq this morning..posted a few images etc on my Reddit group if anyone wants to check it out at
r/SkodaElroq

Loving it...such a great smooth ride on way home. Still have to research a few things...need to dig out the digital manual...and keeps asking me to enter pin every time i start the car.

That and the speed limiter...the speed limiter which i enabled does not hold the car to speed like in my previous car so maybe missing an extra setting somewhere.

Seats are great.. super comfy ( loft )..all round visibility is excellent.. the large door mirrors are brilliant. Very happy with my initial few hours with the Elroq and love the colour moon white in the flesh...discovered a Skoda thing called Green Room in the Skoda app...where you get points for doing challenges etc which you can redeem for prizes. It is free to join.If anyone wants to use my referral code to join it is X4YAUWAH

Mine was about five weeks from the end of the build week to handover at Van Mossel Esplanade. Think it very much depends on availability of shipping though.

The challenges are quite silly, but easy to acheive. Just old fasioned good fun really. Apparently I've completed 2 challenges and earned 20 points and I didn't even know I'd joined. Another 780 points and I could get a Skoda mug with silicon pad 😅

If anyone has collected their elroq recently can you advise did you get your full tool kit as described in the manual on page 122? I only seem to have the security nut for the wheels so among other things missing are the tyre repair kit and possible the air compressor (if UK was specced with this). Manual states these items should be on right hand side of boot at the back. I also did not get the infotainment screen wiper but hope to get it on ebay. Quite a few documents in the glove box and was good to see a printed manual there too.

I think I have a compressor and a bottle of tyre gunk. They are in the foam moulded spacer type thing under the boot floor just behind the rear seats.

I said in a post previously that the car is advertised with a variable boot floor, but, presumably to lower the floor you need to take out the foan spacer and then find somewhere to keep the trye repait kit.

I found it all minus the wiper so edited my post...its actually under the rear seat..but you access it from boot. Not sure about that clever design. Yes i know the sealant has very mixed reviews but rather have nothing missing on a new car.

The reviews i watched stated it came with car like the umbrella but it was most likely just for press cars for review it seems.

How are you getting on with your elroq?

The variable boot floor is part of the transport package or the advanced package upwards, so I don't believe you get it otherwise.

True, but we had Maxx and that includes everything in the advanced package, so I still dont know where to keep the tool kit if I take the boot floor to the lower level. I'll have to take everything out and take a proper look.

Absolutely love it. It's so smooth pulling away and the adaptive regenerative braking for junctions and speed limits is very clever. I got the dashcam wired in yesterday for £132 at the local dealer too. I think our choice of moon white looks really good on the Elroq. It really contrasts well with the black and grey trim.

I thought so too..That is a great price for the dashcam fitted. I am still hunting a USB-C dashcam and will try and offload my old 70mai one on ebay.

I am still getting used to the elroq speed limiter as my old car you did not have to be in Adaptive Cruise Control and it read speed signs / using GPS maps data and kept you to that limit

I was driving back from Tesco today in ACC and around town just felt i was going too fast at times ( but still legal speed ) but noticed the earlier post advising you can lower or higher the speed by 5mph blocks. Hope i have understood that..will try tomorrow again. Just takes getting used to.

That's a very professional looking photo TAP!

When i got the dashcam fitted , I got a brand new Mercedes GLB 200 as a courtesy car but do you know what, when I got back into the Elroq , it felt so much nicer to drive and more comfortable too. The sound system in the Elroq is very good too. The reproduction of music on Classic FM sounds great on philharmonic with surround sound on.

Thank you. I received 4 x VW Screen Cleaner Spray 2 in 1 Microfibre today. Ordered on ebay. Original VW part priced at 10 euros plus VAT each i believe at VW /Skoda.

Elroq reviews mentioned this cleaner would be provided with the car but that does not seem to be the case..maybe just for press cars.

Ebay price £3 when buying 4. Item number posted a few posts up. I also managed to finally get the Elroq speed limiter working perfectly today! The issue was i had not activated it fully.. now the car is driving as i had hoped ..just brilliant.I was clicking the button to activate it and thought i had but you have to pull adaptive cruise stalk towards you, then you see the Speed limiter actually illuminated with capped current speed.

Picked up my 85 edition on Thursday. Few issues with sorting handover, but now I have my hands on the car, I’m super impressed. Anyone still waiting won’t be disappointed. I’ve been through a variety of cars over the years, often Audis. This is the most refined car I’ve driven. So clever, so many features and so comfortable. Often electric cars have shoddy legroom and high floorpan in the rear. My daughter always prefers our 8 year old Yeti to my new cars, but actually loves the rear of the Elroq.

The driving assistance systems are very unobtrusive in my opinion. I’ve not felt the need to switch any off, despite living in countryside with narrow roads. I’m very happy with my purchase, despite not having seen the car before ordering!

It really is a good car. Glad you're enjoying it too.

I was just wondering if anyone has received their free miles yet. Our original email said we'd get a code by email a week or so after delivery of the car. Two weeks and a bit now and no email. It's not really a problem as we haven't needed to use public charging, but it would be nice to have if we were go on a long journey.

The car is brilliant and we find something new everytime we go out. I doubt if we'll ever find out everything you can do in the Infotainment system, but if I remember half of what we find, then I'll be doing ok.

We ordered a dog guard for it last week as Guardsman now have them available on their website.

I haven't received the free miles either Bowdie. Not sure how to chase up that one.
