Hi everybody,
So, the problem is that i cannot open or close tailgate anymore remotely, either from holding middle button on the key or from the tailgate button from the console by the gearshift. Those buttons unlock it and you can hear release mechanism work but just unhook the lock, tailgate doesn't go upwards and you can finish opening it manually by hand.

Buttons on the tailgate open and close it normally.

I cannot suspect on the motor itself because button on the tailgate opens it normally.

BTW, computer or OBD11 do not report any issues.

Any ideas why remote opening does not fully complete ?

Broadly that looks like it confirms what you suspect :-)

If the button on the tailgate itself works, sounds like there’s a component within the mechanism that responds to remote signals and does what the button does…but isn’t doing it fully maybe? Could be some sort of actuator can be repaired/replaced or swap out the whole thing (tends to be the dealer solution these days)

The lock itself for the tailgate is not expensive compared to the locks for front and back doors, so I would rather replace it. We're planing 2500 Km trip and I don't need any suprises or "door not locked warnings" or something like that.
