Coming/Leaving Home Superb 3

Featured Replies

Hello, has anyone changed the adaptation so that in the evening, with the Coming/Leaving Home function, only the front position lights (LED strips for daytime running) and the rear lights would turn on? Without xenon and halogen?

Skoda Superb III 2018

I changed my CH/LH to turn on the fog lights instead of the low beam lights.

The DRLs + rear lights turn on already by default.

Plenty of instructions available online if u search for it.

Yep ok to do with pre-facelift - see the VCDS thread

Won't b the same as facelift uses completely different headlights to pre-facelift.

I have only briefly looked at it, but I know a lot of mods don't work between PFL and FL.

I usually use Carrista , I didn't update my VCDS, this has most mods built in, but not all work with FL again.

I've to borrow VCDS to do this , so I have to plan and be certain it's going to work 😉

I did it - it worked as the fog lights but the headlights would strobe once on at the same time; which worried me it was not good for it and also irritatingly not right, so reverted back to normal.

@defsix

Extract from VCDS FL thread:

23.03.20 ok, Fogs added, headlights didn't gone

*** Set Fogs Lights as Coming/Leaving Home Lights

09 Central Electrics

Access Code 31347

Adaptation

-> Aussenlicht_uebergreifend

---> Coming home Leuchten:

Low beam -> Fog light

---> Coming-home Einschaltereignis:

driver door -> ignition

Extract from pre-FL thread - seems to address the Xenon’s being on still…but I’m sure I did everything and the headlights flashed on once.

“If after changing the coding the xenon’s still light up you will need to code the following:

Leuchte6ABL BC5 (dipped beam left)

Light function C 6

Set On “Coming home or leaving home active" set

Dimming value CD 6

Set to "0"

Dimming direction CD 6

Set to "minimize"

Leuchte7ABL RB1 (dipped beam right)

Light function C7

Set on “Coming Home Leaving Home or active” (Auf "Coming Home oder Leaving Home aktiv" setzen)

Dimming value CD 7

Set to "0"

Dimming direction CD 7

Set to "minimize" “
