Featured Replies

I lost sound of the horn and i have an orange light in dashboard associated to airbag - i have checked fuses but and changed them but that is not the problem

what can it be please?
i have been suggested the o ring behind steering wheel if it is so what is the proper name ? Also if it is that , mine does not have any steering wheel controls (radio control or cruise control, volume, source etc) can i use one O ring ( please note i need the actual name of this) from a skoda octavia same age as mine or do i need one from a car that does not have controls as mine
thank you in advance

Very probably the spiral cable in the steeriing wheel. It connects horn, airbag etc. Its normally a flat cable thats coiled like a spring. Its normally the horn that goes first and then the airbag connection. You should be able to get a new cable or a complete unit. Make sure the battery is disconnected before removing wheel and airbag system.
