Sorry, another brake disc size - no sticker in boot with option numbers

2018 1.5 TSI SE Hatch with no sticker in the boot so I can't find any of the option codes people seem to be talking about.

Anyone help or is it a case of grabbing the codes from a seller off eBay or similar ?

Ta in advance, driveway a bit steep so don't want to be taking wheels off until I absolutely have to ....

In solid discs I've found to my cost two sizes keep coming up. 41 & 51 mm tall from top of hat to outer braking surface.

Stick a measuring tape through your alloy.

I’ve seen two cars on Autotrader, both 2018 and the technical and details in the ads suggest one is 227 BHP and the other is 242. Both appear to be the facelift variant, based on the split front headlights. Is there any other way of confirming the engine BHP apart from relying on the advert contents? Thanks

As title. Alpine i902-OC3 unit. Ideal replacement for an MIB1 Octavia Mk3. Adds wired CarPlay, full comparability with steering wheel controls, and cars standard infotainment features (except telephone button on the wheel). Hey everybody! I am a proud owner of a 2017 Octvaia 1.8TSI for two months now. Does anybody know what app/website is the best to find parts for your car? (a brake change is shortly due, and would be awesome to have a website which works and finds parts through VIN’s like ETKA). Thanks for the help in advance Benjamin

Hi again. I have a 1.6 tdi My daughter recently had to sell her VW Sharan after the DPF was pronounced dead. At least 2K to fix,probably much more.Her car was low mileage,full service history. Can I protect the DPF on our much older vehicle,are there options if it clogs up? Thankyou

Hi again. The service light won't reset using the press the trip method ,also the aircon won't blow out of the face vents despite recalibrating (might be another fault I guess) so Im thinking I'll need to reset the service light with a diagnostic tool Which one though? I should add I've never used one .
