Rear lights on late 2022 superb estate, not all lighting up

Featured Replies

Hi, I don't know if this is a model-related thing but I've noticed other Superb rear lights where the thin red "eyelash" parts of the lights (that are on the boot rather than the body) light up but mine don't.

I still have some warranty so if they're meant to light up I'll want them fixed. already I've come across differences between my car, principally in the infotainment division, to others that appear to be defo model-related.

My 2020 FL has matrix led as standard and the rear lights have animation when the car unlocks and they extend into the boot portion of the car. Photo attached for reference.

@semiroundel - there r two types of tail lights, Low version and High version.

Depending on the model, u'll get either low or high taillights.

It's not broken, nor a warranty thing.

Low version is simpler, and the inner tail light (on the boot) is not wired up, hence doesn't light up.

High version is usually full LED and both outer and inner lights r fully functional.
