OK. My bad. I lost something in translation indeed. I've asked a moderator to remove my message on the S&S mod.

The coding was accept though and I didn't drive that much since I've made it. This why it fooled me.

Thanks for having clarified your sayings.

Cheers.

Yes as I have found it appears to have accepted the coding but nothing changes. I wish it did but have learned to live with it. If only I could get the speed sign icon to appear in the dash like it did in the Tiguan I would be happy but no go on that either even though it is ticked in the settings in the MMI . A lot of this stuff went to crap when they changed the camera version and ever since then stuff has stopped being to be changed It went from a 3Q to a 2Q or other way but if you look at newer instructions it says " must have ?Q camera to work" Also some stuff is now in different modules which has also upset things.. In all my mods the paths are correct as all worked but in later models stuff isnt where I expect to find it.. This is a fairly good Forum www.watercooled.com and https://www.autoinstruct.com.au/ While both are VW a lot still applies as I have mainly used the Mk7 stuff for the Tiguan

Do you know that you can now patch the 2Q camera for traffic sign recognition?

And just as a note, please note the differences between coding and adjustment. The voltage trick for start-stop is an adjustment

I don't question their work, but it may not work in the next model year, etc., so I think control unit information is quite important.

Jeez... Why so much arguing over stop start... And why so much concern about turning it off... It's not particularly intrusive or damaging.

Herrgott ...

You don't understand the translation 100% correctly... I have no problem at all when it's deactivated. I spent days looking through the gateway's data sets to see if it can still be deactivated. I'm concerned about the incorrect information. The first post says it was tested on the vehicle and works. That's a false statement for a 2022 model year vehicle. Many people think it works and copy it, but then it doesn't work.

The post including this adaptation has been removed by a moderator since this morning. It ain’t an issue anymore now.

So if there is a patch for the camera could you post the details so we can try it

Thanks

Danke

You have Odis? Vcp or VC Tool?

GeKo for CP?

Look Here:

"Hi, I have a request regarding my Kodiaq (2019 RS). I was coding the US side marker feature (US daytime running lights/coding), but it didn't work out as expected, even though I followed the instructions. Unfortunately, the backup wasn't saved correctly either... Instead of the US side markers, my front fog lights are now on when the low beams are activated. I need to revert this change. Would a basic settings reset of the lights be enough? Also, if you happen to have a backup file, I would be very grateful. Thank you for your help."

"And do you have any ideas on how to fix this? And if I performed a reset via ODIS, would that still not work? When I get the car back, I'd be happy to send any necessary values. Thank you very much for your response."

You have To Code step by step own.

Or service Station with Odis online SVM Coding

Hi,

AFAIK, Basic setting only changes values, but it doesn't deal with coding nor adaptations.

Thus, you can make as many basic settings as you want, I fear it won't bring you back to the original coding...

As @Cairus said, getting back to your original coding should be the lonely solution.
