What is my speakers specs?

Featured Replies

Hoia there. 2013 Skoda fabia hatchback, without any audio upgrades from factory. Came with a Swing radio when i bought the car last year.

I recently stumbled across an absolute bargain on the used market: a 'new' (used for 2 years) Android headunit made for VAG cars this era. So i bought it for 625NOK (47GBP).

Turns out is has DSP (digital sound processing) , and a 4x45w amplifier built in. And so many settings to play with, so till i get to upgrade the speakers and tweeters i want to get the best possible sound out of them. And to know what i should set it to i need the specifications

So what is the frequency range and impedance for the bass speakers?, its this part https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5l0035411j-bass-speaker-skoda-14006.html

And what is the frequency range and impedance of the tweeters/trebble speakers? https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5j0035411b-treble-speaker-skoda-14045.html

Only info i've found is RMS, and the dimensions.

also, how do i get the rivets out?

On top of this. For future projects after ive sound deadened and noise insulated the car to the extent i bother i want to add a subwoofer, and make it look OEM. No need to make it big. Will not be putting it in the spare wheel well. So any suggestions onwhere i could put it?

I'll pull the cables for this when doing the noise insulation, but id love suggestions for where to put it. I will with research and friends be able to reshape panels and reinforce them to fit the woofer in, and can make a case for it in there aswell.

I was thinking in the sidewells in the trunk, near the vents this way the air the woofer moves will get an easy way out of the car, hopefully avoiding some avoidable rattles.
