User account problem

Featured Replies

Hey everyone

So I have a problem on my Skoda octavia mk4. When I try to create a user on my dashboard, no matter what I try when i am login in to my Skoda app everything works perfectly but when I am trying to connect to my dashboard ( everything is normal with my id and password (no caps), there is a message showing saying that it can’t connect to it. The car is turned on and I have connected it to a strong WiFi connection though. And without the account the car can’t create a user.

Please can someone help me with this issue 🙏

Make sure your car’s infotainment system is updated to the latest software. Restart your phone, the app, and the car’s system. Check your network by switching between WiFi and mobile data. Try logging out and back into your account or recreating the user profile. If the issue persists, contact Skoda support or visit a dealership.

I am trying to update the system offline because it can update online rn. But I did everything you said but nothing work and I did login out of my account but it can’t reconnect to it. I put the right password and id’s but it won’t let me connect to it

Do you have both key fobs in the car with you?

I’m sure when creating or logging in for the first time as a master user you need both fobs with you in the car so it knows you are the master account holder.

Hey i did take both keys but the problem is still here. Idk what to do about it but actually I’m trying to update the car offline with a usb stick so I will wait till it’s done.

I know you say you have it connected to a good wifi signal..... Try turning the eSIM on instead and see if it then allows you to log on when it's using the car's 4G mobile signal instead of your home wifi.

I'm sure others have had issues with the car not downloading updates etc.... when connected to wifi but it then worked fine updating when using the eSIM.

I've never had mine connected to my home wifi once since having it and never had issues with creating accounts logging on or downloading map and system updates using the car's own eSIM and the car is parked about 6ft away from our wifi router when it's on the drive at home.

Unplug your car battery and plug again after 30min. That’s solve problem on my car with connecting
