Skoda Kodiaq – only warm air on the passenger side

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I have a Skoda Kodiaq MY2019, 2.0 TDI, 140 kW (190 HP), 4x4, DSG.

The Kodiaq has a 3-zone Climatronic. Unfortunately, this is causing problems.

If I set both sides at the front to “LO,” only the driver's side gets cold.

The passenger side stays warm. The air conditioning does not work here.

If I set both sides at the front to “Hi,” both sides get warm.

I also noticed that when I start the car, I always hear a brief “metallic noise” from the ventilation system that lasts a few seconds and then disappears.

VCDS does not report any errors with the Climatronic. I tried to output some parameters, but I don't see any errors.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Many thanks in advance.
