Hi,

I was unaware of the towing hook (8K0805615), and Mr Car didn't include one when I purchased it 2 years ago. I assume it should be stored with the spare wheel.

I tried to screw my friend's bolts from a Passat station wagon into it, but it didn't work, which surprised me.

Looking on eBay, this part is common with other cars, so that, for example, I can get this one for £14. Or what do ye think?

Be careful, the suffix -A appears to be a different part, listed for other Skodas. May not be correct thread or whatever.

If you have a scrap yard near you see if they have any that might fit. Take your car and try a few from skoda/audis etc
