I need to disconnect the battery.

2025 Karoq: Does the infotainment have a PIN or is the infotainment unit associated with the car via the various internal systems?

(I am aware that some spurious fault indications will appear on the dash when the battery is reconnected which will go away once the vehicle is moving.)

I don’t think that’s a thing anymore. If anything it’ll be coded to the ecu and just work. Issues might come in if someone was to replace it later for one from another car. Then it might need coding in.
