I do aircon on, with rear windows fully down and front windows down an inch or so to stop ear drums vibrating !! Works really well....

this is a bad idea if you have climate control as the car will be trying to cool the planet rahter than just the cabin. if you have poverty spec air-con like in a fabia then carry on and don't worry

well its a couple of days since it was regassed , and i would say it is better than it was before but nowhere near as cold as people are saying on here , certainly no misty windows or frosty door handles :( and as for erect nipples i'd better not go there , either i've just got a problem (all seems to be working ok) or its just not to good in my car , i'll get my laser temp sensor out tomorow and check the temperature out of the vents

Hmmm, thoughts of all the cars in the world(Toyota prius's (or is it prii?)of course) with their windows down and climate control on full belt set to cold to combat global warming, :bs:

But your forgeting all the heat coming from the heat exchangers! They maybe be throw cold air out but also very hot air.
