Fitting mudflaps to MK2 Kodiaq

Featured Replies

Is anyone had experience of fitting mug flaps to the Mk2 kodiak?

I'm intending to purchase from Kopacek as they are a third of the price, delivered, than buying in the UK (£50 including shipping from both front and back).

From what I can see it's just a case of removing a few bolts, inserting the flaps and bolting on.

Fitting due to towing a caravan and wanting to reduce the splashback.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks.

Did them on a Kamiq got them from www.skoda-parts.com Cost me about $50 against dealer in Aus want $200 They will fit similar and mine used present fittings plus one extra one I had to drill As I have a short right angle chuck it was easy to do without removing wheels They came with good instructions and mine were factory in SKODA packets

Thank you. The ones I'm looking at are Skoda original and appear to have the instructions

I was lucky that my local dealer offered to fit them free as my new car was delayer by a day. I recall them saying that they were awkward to fit and some careful drilling was required.

I was lucky enough to accept quite a reach gift by my dealer in Greece, which included, a seat coolbox-excellent by the way- cables for connecting phones, and accessorie display brush to replace the original fitted with refill liquid, a total series of care products, all weather floor mats, and of course the original mud flaps, that were also installed for free....

It is true that installation was a bit awkward....there were were a couple of holes not matching, and I was asked to allow to drill....but they were cautious enough to double check the package, to discover that there were a couple of fittings included, that replace the original screw holes, so to fit perfectly...so, no drills in the end😋

By the way....they do excellent job in any case...driving under heavy rain, or dirty roads, saves your rear visibility by minimum 30%

I'd never be without mudflaps. I hate muck up the side in heavy rain and the odd stone chip when driving on UK's often "unmade" roads.

  • 2 weeks later...

Purchased mine off EBay, ADCR Retail, £58.99 delivered. Genuine Skoda with instructions. No need to remove rear wheels just a bit of pushing the wheel arch liner. Very effective and perfect fit. Took about an hour (if that) for all four.

Just search Skoda Kodiaq front and rear 2024 Onwards MK 2 57H07511+ 57H075101

Great. Thank you. Mine should be delivered tomorrow. I ordered from Kopacek; around £50 delivered for all 4. I get the new Mk2 on Thursday and will be fitting asap after (unless I can pursuade the dealer to fit before I collect).
