Lane keeping assistance camera fogging up

Featured Replies

hello all I have a brand new 75 plate Karoq it’s done not even 25 miles, last night we drove to the pub round the corner (only had one 😉) and on the way there I had an error that the dynamic light assist was unavailable. When I checked the windscreen I noticed the sensor had completely fogged up and everytime you put the matrix beam on it would switch off after around 30 seconds of driving. It cleared on the drive home and then worked but the light assist was acting a little erratic and blocking out the beam for no reason? Just wondered if anyone else has had an issue with it fogging up as I assumed it was a completely sealed unit? Any help would be appreciated!

Have never seen this in my '73 plate. I would suggest a trip to the dealer will be required because that shouldn't be happening - it's all inside the car and should be sealed.

Was a bit worried about my camera as had to have my windscreen replaced last week, but everything seems to work ok afterwards.

I get this occasionally usually a quick flick wipe clears it or a squirt from the screen washers. Must admit I'd assumed it was on the outside as it clears with the wipers,,,,,,,,,,,,,
