Hi All,

I have a 2014 Octy 1.2 Petrol and I've noticed that when I accelerate, particularly when going uphill and most noticeable in 5th and 6th gear that there is a small judder a bit like going over a bit of rough road. I had to have a new injector a few years back but it's been fine since. I seem to notice it more since the car was serviced last month, but that might be a coincidence. About 93k on clock. Need to have cam belt changed soon!

I'll plug in my diagnostic computer tomorrow, but any ideas what this might be?

I have the same on my MK2 1.6tdi. Been trying to track it down for Months now. Everything checks out with no fault codes and no advises for MOT. Has become slightly worse when cornering and only when accelerating if I lift foot of accelerator pedal it disapears. I am thinking perhaps a problem with one of the front drive shafts or CV joints but can feel no movement or wear or clunks etc. Have been leaving it until it gets worse in the hope I can identify the problem but may have to put it into a garage to see if they can diagnose any problem. Mine is felt through the car not the steering wheel.

Probably be fine for a while yet.

New recommendation is 180K miles or 15 yrs for the petrol engines i recall
