Renault Aero wipers fitted today

Featured Replies

Yes. Correct from Renault.

Renault Scenic Mk1 Aero Wipers are a direct replacement for the Fabia. £35 inc VAT for the pair. They look much better BUT more importantly they are so much better.

Renault Part No: 77 11 236 179

Yes

Bonnets looking swirl free, wish I could say the same about mine.

They do look good I must admit.

I'm tempted now - suppose I'll have to find myself a Renault dealer now (the one in Abingdon moved, pretty sure it's still nearby tho lol)

Thanks for the pic

ooooooooooooooooo, i do vastly prefer those wipers, they do like you say work and look much better too :)

theres something on my "to do list"

Cheers

Go them as standard on the Octy II. They are good, I have to say. The most important change to happen to the humble windscreen wiper since....well....... they were invented really!

Thanks Dave. I just rang my local Renault dealer and quoted the part number and they were in stock. He was amazed when I told him that they fitted a Skoda Fabia

Cheers

Chris

The passenger side OE wiper on a furbie is curved. Is the renault wiper curved?, does it need to be. If you fit a "Straight" wiper it leaves a water line in the eyeline on the drivers side when it sweeps across I assume this is because ot the shape of the windscreen...............................Anyone.............................:)

It forms to the screen The wipe is perfect. Much better than the old one. That left streaks, this doesnt

After reading the posts about Renault aero wiper blades, I fancy getting some for my PD100. I understand the Renault Scenic Mk 1 blades are a direct replacement for the Fabia, but the checks I've made seem to indicate that the lengths are different:

The Scenic's are 24 + 16 see: http://www.1stautobulbs.com/part.php?wiper_variant_id=548

The Fabia's are 21 + 19

Could someone please confirm?

Thanks

Your checks are correct. :D

if you are going to buy the Fabia blades from 1st auto , get a 22" instead of a 21" , it seems to work better

 I repeat.........."THEY WORK PERFECTLY!"

Do any of the Renault ones fit the Octy as the Furbie has only been mentioned in this thread?

Pass

Thanks for your comments, I was thinking that perhaps longer blades would hit the side-pillars?

Nope.

I fitted mine 3 months ago and they are absolutely fantastic, however.......

I have noticed on the driver's side the bottom of the wiper is vibrating meaning I do not get a full wipe. The wipe is still crystal clear, it just misses the top right of the screen. Any ideas what may have caused this?????
