I had a 1.4 16v for an afternoon. It was really quite nippy - in the right revs.

No way is it as quick as the 2.0l although I have never driven a standard one - just my modded one.

Don't think anyone has anything against the 2.0 Fabia...just some have a more realistic appreciation of it's abilities and limitations...

From what i've read in this thread no one has anything against them...... it just the 'my car is the fastest in the world' attitude that people on car forums (not just his one) don't like.

I hate camels too. Got chased by a mother camel when I was trying to approach her calf when I was about 12. They make horrific sounds too.
