Connect Android phone to car with USB C input.

Featured Replies

I plugged my phone into the USB-c connector, selected media, set the phone to play Spotify music and the car will output random MP3 and MP4 files from the phone, but not the one actually playing on the phone. What am I doing wrong? I am not using the Blutooth connection as that is used for outputting Google maps from another phone to the car display. I have not yet found any reference to the USB c input in the handbook, although it probibly is there somewhere.

2025 Sportline 1.5.

Spotify is one of the Android Auto apps

It is possible (probable?) that the other phone wireless AA connection is taking precedence over wired USB connected devices.
