I own a new MINI Cooper S. It's my second. The first was (eventually) trailered away because it had some many faults. If your interested, here's a link:

Anyway, I am deciding what car now to get as my 3 month old replacement MINI Cooper S had to be recovered a week ago with exactly the same power steering failure as the first MCS suffered, twice!

I've had it with MINI's. They're over-hyped, over-priced and worst of all, don't "feel" as fast in the "real-world" as the new Fabia vRS does!

What a car?!

Question is, can everyone post as many PICTURES as they can here for me to make my mind up on this fine car. Any colour will do, preferably Black or Silver.

Mini's unfortunatly are over-hyped. Not a car I like, really, very badly over-priced and not practical. I have had to drive to numerous things because we can't fit in the back of a mates

Good to see another possible convert to the little Furby. I got a yellow vRS almost 3 months ago now and have loved every minute. Especially since getting Jabba'd!

My wife seemed quite happy to take a look today at the dealer. They hadn't got a test-driver in though but she's said that isn't a problem! Woo-Hoo!

I must say though fab16v and especially Ross Clarke, your cars look (and sound) great. What I want to know is how much your engine / mechanical mods cost and what's involved? In particular the BHP conversion and any suspension changes that you may have made?

All of the mods on my car have been carried out by either myself or my work collegues at AmD.

My engine work was carried out by Jabbasport and the rest so far by myself. The majority of my mods will be done by myself apart from making up the exhaust and the possible window tints!

I have to agree that the ride-height on the Fabia does need some looking at. Don't forget to photograph yours when you 'fix' it please. :wave:

Skoda seem to have told their press agency, Newspress Ltd. to remove this mis-leading website as it didn't have a correct options list on there. It listed things like Heated Washer jet nozzles, Height adjustable passenger seats, all-round electric windows, etc.

(Unfortunately, they haven't yet removed the linked pages that still exist).

I though the leccy windows was an option and so to was the heat adjustable passenger seat, ha ho glad I didn't go for it as I would of got charged for it even though it wasn't fitted, eh wayne
