Hi All,

With an unexpected (and positive) job change I’m getting a company car, and so the Superb will be sold.

My Dad asked if he could buy it, however I have gently refused…he wants an auto for my Mum, who’s pushing 80 and frankly speaking, shouldn’t be driving at all, let alone something as big as a Superb…

Another friend is interested, but not sure whether she really wants to change her car yet.

As such, I thought I’d mention it on here in case anybody’s interested - you can quite easily find the work I’ve had done during my 8 months and almost 20k miles in it (mostly just general maintenance), and have had a lot of help and advice from members on here, thank you ☺️

If anyone’s interested, please just PM me.

I don’t know when I’m getting the new car, however it was ordered yesterday and is available from stock, so could be relatively quick…my current employers not letting me know if I can leave early from a 3 month notice period isn’t helping, but I’m 3 weeks into that already.

Agree. Nothing wrong with putting some spec up in case someone is interested.

Alternatively putting it in the For Sale forum doesn’t mean you have to commit to any timescales etc. You can easily explain the situation etc.

Yep, happy to blame someone else for taking the car away from my mum getting behind the wheel 😅

New car was going to be an Enyaq…until I saw a screaming lease deal on a BMW i5 Touring, which my new boss told me to go and try, and if I liked it he’d order one!

So, on the way is a gangster spec i5 Touring M Sport in black, with black leather and we’re getting the rear windows dark tinted - completely opposite vibe to the Superb 😅

I am going to miss the Superb, as it’s been comfy and reliable…and I’ve sunk a few quid into it in a short space of time, so hopefully someone who appreciates that will buy it!
