Button panel adding functions

Featured Replies

Hi! I want to add functions to my button panel. It has some blank spots where I would like to have features like driving mode and traction control. I was thinking of buying the button panel from skoda-parts, these ones:

https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5e1927238gwhs-button-panel-lower-skoda-40164.html

My question is, will it work if I buy it and plug it in? Does it need coding? Or is it more difficult than that?

Here are some pictures. First is of my cars button panel, and the second picture is how I want my button panel to look like.

Is there any guide or instructions to this?

Or do you know of someone here who has done this before who I can talk to?

1) Hardware Retrofit

2) Software Coding

3) Software Lisenc for driving Mode (Gateway)

By ESP Button, you have to Check, If it Possible with your HW

I have the 2019 model, Octavia 3.5

I don't know of any Octavia 3 where you can select the driving profile via the radio (MIB2/MIB2.5). I have one myself at home. Do you have DCC?

I don’t have Octavia 3, I have 3.5

An Octavia 3 is an Octavia 3, regardless of whether it's a pre-facelift or facelift model. I just happen to have an Octavia 3.5 at home.

Show a Picture please from select driving Mode over mib 2

I am sorry but could you explain the difference to me?

Drive Profil Mode Change a Lot of more Systems

What you have on screen is the Adaptive Cruise Control modes. These determine how fast/slow the car accelerates again after slowing down when ACC detects that the reason for slowing down is gone.

These are different to the Driving modes which are Eco, Normal, Sport and Individual.
