OK to answer your question. There is a setting to enable the non-drivers side mirror to tilt when reverse is selected. I assume yours is set to rise upward rather than downward (to, for example, see the kerb line). Take a look in the online manual for how to set it up to behave as you would like it to be.

If not, it is possible that some of the wiring connections have been reversed.

Please note that English is the primary language to be used in Briskoda.

You can use several translation tools to help with this if needed.

The software can alert the admin team to possible spamming attacks if non English languages are used repeatedly.

If I'm understanding correctly, you may have the setting turned on in the infotainment screen where the mirror tilts down when in reverse to better see kerbs and other obstructions. It will return to normal when a forward gear is selected.

It only dips upwards, probably because you need to configure it to go down. Look for the setting procedure in the manual or online.
AFAIK you have to put the mirror switch to the "R" position, select Reverse on the gearbox, and then adjust from the mirror knob how low you want it to tilt. Did you already go through this process?
If you already did, try doing it again.
