Anyone out there got a Race Blue touch up stick?

Pretty much since first getting the car I have noticed little chips appearing so being a kind and caring vRS owner I thought I should do something about them. Unfortunately this is not possible.:thumbdwn:

It is on back order at my dealer and I have contacted Skoda where a nice lady called Kerry rings me every week or 2 to tell me once again that they still don't have one.

So the next question is am I wasting my time and should I have bought a less exclusive colour?

Only time will tell.

You are certainly not the only person on here who will want the Race Blue touch up paint. I spoke to my dealer on Monday and they said it wasn't even listed in their spares catalogue yet.

Give it some time and Skoda should have pulled their thumb out. I have noticed a small wavy scratch on my vRS which must have come from brushing up against some foliage or twigs down a narrow country road.

What I was told here is that Touch up Paints won't be stocked in the dealers any more...due to ISO and the paint shelf life...easier not to have it than fail an ISO audit for out of date paint.

One option I didn't really think of is a chap I know who works in a bodyshop. I will be speaking to him in the near future as I have body-coloured grilles and had a small coming together with a Megane Scenic towbar :thumbdwn: and need to get my replacement grilles sprayed again.
