First test drive

Featured Replies

We took an (lhd) Epiq for a test drive, and were quiet impressed.

There was plenty of room inside, I'm 6' tall, and there was still enough room in the rear when set up for me driving. It was comfortable, and responsive.

We are seriously thinking about getting one to replace our current Karoq.

The model I drove was a 55 Edition.

According to wikipedia, the 55 is the top end model with 155kW (211PS) and a 51.7kWh battery. I suspect it also has multi-link rear suspension, as it has over 150PS.

Lower models with a lot less power (85kW/116PS and 99kW/135PS), a 37kWh battery, and twist-beam rear suspension might not be so impressive.

If we were to get one, it would be the 55 Edition.

I tested the Epiq (and the Peaq) on a drive from Munich to AUstria (Seefeld) and then back again. I am serioulsy thinking of replacing my Enyaq with an Epiq 55.
Here's the video I made of the drive from Munich to Seefeld.

Hi domhnall, a really interesting video, thanks. It looks as if some instruction will be needed to work out how to use all the driving modes..!
