Life without remap

Featured Replies

As some will be aware I switched off the Star remap on my Octy to get the best possible mpg on a long holiday to Ireland. It worked - averaged out overall at 42.5 mpg:eek::eek:

But do I miss the extra 40 odd bhp of the remap?

After a battle to hold off a TT last night :mad: (OK, it was a 225 ), the remaps going back on tomorrow :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I'm surprised you chose to have that removed for Ireland. I find the remap really useful for overtaking (which is something you have to do a lot in Ireland), and I still get 38mpg on Irish country roads, and mines a 4x4.
