My Defection

Featured Replies

As you can probably tell from my user name... that is where my heart lives ... After owing 3 Subarus (two Imprezas and a Forester)... I have defected and ordered a new Fabia VRS !! It was hard enough parting with my Impreza for a Forester when I had to start carrying a wheelchair around for a member of the family who was ill. After they died 6 months after buying the Forester, 90%+ of the time it was just myself in the car.

I am also involved in rallying and co drive in an Impreza...

Reason.... High fuel bills so I needed a diesel as run own business and do lots of local mileage. The final crunch came when I did

I think you'll like it, there are quite a few on here who have made the move to the smokey side from the flat four side.

It WILL be more economical.....

Welcome m8

I made the move from a blobeye wrx ppp to a fabia vRS, it was great. I only had it for a year though and moved onto a mk2 octy vRS. The furby was fantastic, but I just found that diesel was not "my thing" so to speak.

Mk2 octy is still shed loads cheaper to run than the scoob was

Welcome :D

I also left my Impreza for a diesel Fabia. As Jon says, it WILL be more economical :D Just don't try driving it like the Impreza!

Why not wait till the first september?

Hmmmm know what you mean but it will have private plates on so makes no difference. Need a car for my business and the Suzuki is..... well and its not fair to bang the miles on someone elses car.... plus going in hospital on 4th of september for a serious op so need to sort out everything beforehand..

Anyway... by noon today...
