I have persistant ringworm on the back of my neck, so now it has been turned black, and is itching like anything.

Is that from your working with farm animals?

I've got some on one foot, which seems to have spread to the other foot, and is a sod to get rid of.

I've never been near a farm animal so I dunno how I caught it. :(

It doesn't help that you are meant to keep the ointment in the fridge but put it on 3 times a day - I don't have a fridge at work - d'oh!

Yes, I used to milk cows. The farmer was convinced that the cows never had ringworm before I started working with them, so maybe I gave it to the cow.

What gets rid of my ringworm best is being in UV light. If I am in a nice hot country it goes, also if I use the sunbed a lot.

Tell your doctor you want to go on a drug called Fluconazole, that will get rid of it 100% but the doctor was funny about giving me the drug because I was young and female . Steriod cream helps a lot too.

I've got Daktacort which is mionazole and hydrocortisone (i.e. steroid). When I first used it, the first patch of ringworm improved really quickly but didn't completely disappear, and a few days later the other patch appeared. After some neglect (forgetting to treat it) it's all flared up again.

Now you've reminded me I'll apply some right now!

Hydrocortisone worked well for me. I cannot believe we are comparing fungal skin complaints, any how - try the UV think, but I guess it is hard to expose your feet to UV. Try the sunbed thing, combined with the cream should help.

It is not that contagious. When it was at it's worse I had to wear my hair up all the time, and I have a bit of a bald patch where it used to be.

There is a cream called UdderMint that I used to put on that soothed the itching loads. You can only get it at farming shops though.

I once photoshopped myself to see how I'd look with blue eyes. It scares me everytime I look at it! Not cos it's a bad chop, think it's because I can see myself but it isn't me....

As for Loz with blue eyes - my sister in laws has blue eyes but out for a drink with her a while ago and there was something strange with her - she has bright green eyes - well strange when you can't work out what's different.
