 I may be 'like' one of the blokes, I'll give you that. I guess it comes from hanging out with the lads as a youngen  but I feel I need to clear another thing up now. I do not, nor ever have had a moustache you cheeky hadaway person you!

Walkie and I can confirm that Pixi is not a man.

She's just lucky I cant get photos off my phone to share the "bath time" photo she sent me

It's an '06 plate with just over delivery miles and its
Holy hell!!!! It's lost

Yep, and then there are the running costs and servicing to consider. Once they fall outside of the warranty, the parts prices just aint funny. And don't believe the bull about scoobies going forever. My last one needed a new g/box at 70K, and new headgaskets at 95K. It was the 4 grand repair bill that put me off and I sold the car. All my cars were serviced at a Scoob dealer every 7500 miles which cost me a fortune, but I still had issues. They are good value used, but beware for some potentially big bills.

That's why I didn't end up buying an ageing Legacy Turbo wagon.

Yup, had one of those too. Clutch was juddering. 800 quid and a new clutch / flywheel later.......................still juddering:thumbdwn:

Sold my mildy modified Scooby turbo with 87k miles on it and only had to pay out for regular servicing on it. I fell out with my main dealer though so it was maintained by the excellent people at TSL Motorsport in Nottingham and ScoobySport in Basildon :D

Alas, I have had to walk away from the lovely brand new Spec B.

It was ont forecourt for

My office mate bought his fully loaded '54 plate for a shade under 16k. Think he's still adjusting to the fuel economy (after his 1.8T Audi), but he won't shut up about it and has only had it for a month and a bit

I think this is definitely the way forward, Chris. I will scour the Autotrader website.

(I bet Pixi's stroking her beard now reading this in deep thought)

 Actually I'm sat here picking yesterdays dinner out of it. Ooh, how I hate custard.

I suppose custard is easier to get out of your beard than Gentleman's Relish (ahem! At least that's what I'm told!)
