Hi folks,

Been browsing the forum for a couple of months now whilst waiting for my car to arrive ... finally, this morning, my Sprint Yellow Octy VRS was delivered ... 2007 spec (red calipers, tinted mirror glass, MP3 stream etc.)

Very nice and congrats for he first UK spec Sprint Yellow OctyII vRS

Can you just choose red calipers then? Thought green was the trademark of the vRS?

Skoda seem to have opted for Red Calipers now I'm afraid. Saw my new one on Saturday waiting at the dealership for me and it has red ones too.

I can only assume it's a cost saver as they can come out of the VW parts bin.

It's a real shame as these were a vRS trademark.

Very, very nice.....but green calipers were the Skoda trademark, it's almost like the parent company is punishing Skoda for the brand image it has made for itself.

I think green calipers would have looked a bit too much on a yellow car!

I gotta say it's not to my taste but then if we all liked the same things it'd be boring wouldn't it.

Getting used to seeing yellow on the roads as most seat leons i see are yellow.....slowly getting used to it!

It would look sweet with bigger dark (anthracite) alloys. The Leon Cupra R in yellow is one of the few cars that can carry it off well.
