Anyone else stereotype drivers according to make and model?

Featured Replies

I was driving yesterday and a car pulled out in front of me and proceeded to do 20mph on a stretch of road that has a limit of 60mph and road conditions were excellent so no reason to be doing that speed. Noticed that it was a Nissan Micra and thought **** I will be behind it for ages and I was! So I have to admit I stereotype drivers of those cars as old ladies going 2mph! Anyone else guilty of this and what are your stereotypes?

Lorna

PS Another one is my friend maintains BMW stands for bought mainly by w and you can guess what w words she uses!

Yep, I'm sort of guilty of it

All the time, eg

BMW= arrogant **** with no indicators

Merc. (large)= senile, drunken, half-blind , retired, banker with no road sense

Evo or Scoob= Young arrogant drug dealer with no visible means of support and sadly who is deaf ( hence bangin' choonz )

I could go on, but I have decorating to do:(

Yep me too

BMWs dont give a toss about anyone else

Volvo ....slow, indicate left ...and then ............turn right

All the time' date=' eg

I cant believe.. but i totally agree!!!! Hilarious in some sort of sense

I think we're all guilty of that, esp directed toward BMW drivers

MK4 Golf drivers!! Esp' TDI's!!

It's the BMW hatred brigade out in force again :hilarius:

Don't think anyone dislikes the cars themselves (except the 1 series), just the way they tend to be driven as a rule and the types of person they tend to attract, especially the 318, 320 and 520.

Large 4x4's are always driven by rich women who don't need to work and can't drive/park properly, or young blokes who must have their phones stuck to their ears and have a permit not to use indicators. To$$er$!:finger:

New style Minis are normally driven by young Totty:thumbup:

I was quite surprised how much aggression from other drivers you receive when behind the wheel of a BMW! I put it down to jealousy

Chris

Maybe I'll find out soon......

I remember driving a 1-series from the midlands down to Canary Wharf and back shortly after they were released - I felt like I was public enemy number 1! I also hated the damn thing

A "116i" complete with IOW sticker? ;)

Chris

Either the 116i if I get the petrol or a 118d if I get a fuel of the devil one.

Either would have a map of the Isle of Wight on the boot

Can't we tempt you with the vRS TDi then?

Sorry, off topic.

Dunno till I drive them, maybe, maybe not. Fancy going back to RWD though, having been playing in them for the last couple of months I've remembered how much fun it is :D

Alot of BMW drivers are arrogant, ignorant and think they are a cut above everyone else.

I can quote tinkerbell if you like? just for an example

and it's nothing to do with Jealousy at all as I could own any brand new BMW if I wanted. I just couldn't stop using my indicators ;)

although I do hope it's just a minority but everyday i see a BMW driver doing something stupid in their cars. we could go on all day I suppose but i'd rather not.

Everyone stereotypes. e g Mini= young estate agent.

We need a reverse psychology thread.'Which car makes you want to jump out and hug the driver':)

Some of those MILF's on the 4x4 run look pretty huggable to me

 You have formed an opinion of me from this forum, as you have never met or spoken to me (or will for that matter), but I am arrogant, ignorant and a cut above everyone else (well actually that last bit is right ;) )

Any brand new BMW???? Shall I order you an M5 or M6 for September delivery then  You've got a spare

I have many faults but being wrong isn't one of them, so it's only right I drive an M5. The TVR means I have a small willy, The merc means I'm fat and old, and the 911 means I am egotistical. Still at least I don't drive a 4x4 eh....?
