How much trade does Briskoda represent to skoda UK?

Featured Replies

Just wondered how much Briskodian members are worth to Skoda-UK?

With all the members (who buy skodas) put together we must represent a few million in trade easily.

Are we considered relevant to the big boys? - If not why not?

Can we use this to get better service etc....:D

Well I will register my Octy on the 1 sept and send of document to Skoda who are giving me

In just over a year, £16,500 for a new Octy and £200 on a service. If everyone else posts what they have spent we could set someone away with a calculator :)

I often wonder how much attention Skoda UK pays to Briskoda. It is a marketing resource for one, and I know Peugeot would love to be able to have the resource that the review centre offers.

But after the whole warranty thing, it makes you wonder?

Mine was a private sale both times, and I am getting her serivced at a TVR garage, so I don't really count.

Why a TVR garage? A vag specialist would be much better equipped to service your car.

Because it is in walking distance of my house, and they service all cars for not too much money. They are also lotus and proton. I am friends with the people as well.

Skoda customer care can't be worse than Renault.

If you do a search back, you will find a few threads about SUK.

It is reasonable common knowledge that they "keep an eye" on the site, and if there is something they dont like , then they will " make their displeasure known" despite the official line that they are not prepared to associate themselves with the site.

It is also advisable NOT to say anything too derogatory about SUK, or post lots of threads about mods you have done to your car ,as they will find out who you are and send a letter telling you that they have withdrawn the warranty on your car. :)

SUK DO realise how much free advertising and recommendation that they get, so while its free then they do not need to do anything.

As a percentage of Skoda's global sales (we are an international site after all), I suspect we represent pretty much a drop in the ocean. Even just looking at UK sales, I'd be surprised if it's much different...

Rob.

skoda UK in my experience are two faced thieves that try and cheat the honest motorist out of lots of money. in my experience. doubt i will buy another skoda once i finally blow mine up. will probably buy a real AUDI :D

Still wondering about this £500 cashback thing?!?!?

Is anyone who's bought a Skoda (Octy vRS 2) recently eligible for it??? And is it an official thing???

SUK dont care about this site, they would rather it diddnt exist.

Most users here already have a Skoda and the numbers who buy as a result of coming here are minimal.

Why would Skoda want to support a site that allows owners to bypass their dealer network and avoid paying an hours labour to diagnose a simple problem? Why would they want to supprt a site that could advice an owner to claim for a warranty part or source from another source?

Having said that Seat support www.seatcupra.net which, seems illogical to me given they are another VAG company.

I've spent
