Just Driven the PD vRS

Featured Replies

I went round to Sparshatts to drop off my insurance details so my car could be registered and they had the demo car there. I couldn't resist the urge to give it a run up the road. :D

Well I have to say in terms of refinement it leaves the Fabia standing. The engine is quieter and feels more relaxed under acceleration. It doesn't make the car feel too nose heavy either although I was a bit limited due to the evening rush hour traffic.

I feels quiet perky in acceleration and almost as fast as the petrol so I think it's going to be a winner for the fuel consumption concious among us.

Watch out Mondeo - I think the reps have a new car in town.

Was the car standard or any goodies fitted.Dont know if any Scottish garages have any yet.

Pretty standard apart from Jumbo Box and 18" wheels.

Newmarket won't have one until October :mad::mad:

Sounds interesting... Need to change the Golf next year as we have a cash buyer for it next July! Still not sure what to go for....

I can almost feel the petrol vs diesel debate coming along :P

Did you find it as peaky as was suggested by some of the reviews or is it quite driveable?

I thought it was quite smooth TBH but as I said it was a limited drive due to traffic etc.
