Changing my email account

Featured Replies

My local broadband supplier has told me that all email accounts are changing over and so a different address has been given to me. I am nearly at the deadline to change it over, I think they have given me till the 4th.

Is there an easier way to inform everybody other than going through all my emails and spotting who I have to inform? Obviously with banks etc I will have to change my details on the site. I am not looking forward to this one little bit

Is this freeserve / orange, if so it could be fun for me to. I wasnt aware of any changes.

No, it's confined to Pixi land. I'm thinking of moving

I think not Manny... I've been told .freeserve.co.uk and .fsmail.net address will remain totally functional.

Mines changing as well, PITA :(

Hi Pixi

It was recommended to me (by a Briskodian and apols I've forgotten who as it was many months ago) that I set up my own domain name, e.g. via 123REG (or similar), which I did, because it can point old emails to a new address (without notifying senders). In future you would use your domain name email address as your main one and thus not have to keep notifying everyone when you change ISP.

I did that, and it worked a treat , although now that I've changed ISP again, I'm not sure how to get it to "point to" more than one "old" address :rubchin:

Still, I'm sure someone will come along with more info on this, but definitely worth considering since 123Reg is only two or three
