Stick my name down for a pair of golf arms and bladed if a group buy goes ahead :P

got mine this morning of a mate in audi

mutha funking bathplug shunting old arms are refusing to budge

ive tried every tip i could find on here

i just rushed to machine mart to get a tool still won't come off

they been bathed in wd40 since about 10.30 this morning

any suggestions would be fantastic

ive given up now time to get wrecked

had the aftermarket ones that fit on the original arms on the Fabia , wasn't overly impressed to be honest , juddered on the way up whatever i did with the arm so they got removed for the OEM blades , i think correct VAG arms and blades are the way to go

This is a fantastic mod, not cheap-but worth every penny!

Mine came off within seconds.

Am I right in thinking it's at the point where you've taken the black plastic 'cap' off the arm, then removed the bolt? Then it's a damn good idea to have the arm's at 12o'clock, you can do this by turning the car on pressing the wiper and then turning the power off when the wipers at 12.

Then all I had to do was move the side too side a few times while pulling away from the screen and they came off without any problems. Like all car parts one mans loose fixture is anothers un-removable.

OK mate, where is the arm catching,

IIRC (I will have to check) one of the arms has a steep crank at the end and that one goes on the passenger side.

they are so much better than the orignals i have been waiting for rain since i fitted them (sad i know) finally the downpour came this morning the hard bit was getting the old ones off but a bit of butchering and i managed.

they are so much quieter as well i guess the old ones aint very aero dynamic and you dont get a spray of water when they have finished wiping either

i can highly recommend these to anyone thinking of doing it

You got here before me!!!

Sorry!! Just wanted to spread the word :D

 No problem!!

I have emailed vagparts.com to see if they are happy to accept a group buy from us... in the mean time we just need to get numbers up!

ok... they are up for a deal... just need to work out how many people are interested.
