Hi there

I found this Forum while Googling for reviews of the new Octavia (rather late to be reading reviews, mind you, as mine is coming within the week).

Anyway, since I bought my first Skoda four years ago, I have been a total convert. Nothing I ever drove compared to my current Superb (which goes away next week), but my test drive of the Octavia 2.0 Elegance DSG that is replacing it makes me think that I will enjoy the new car even more!

And so the new car has arrived!

I got it on Saturday - was panting at the showroom door when they opened on teh day I was to pick it up.

WHAT a lovely car. That DSG is amazing, and around town it seems to travel without using any fuel at all (at least compared to my Superb). Good sound system and everything too, yes a Wise Choice!

hello everyone, I'm starting this topic as I couldn't find any info on it. I need to replace the rear subframe on a skoda superb mk 2 2015 2.0 tdi 170 the problem is that I can't find a replacement part online. All the subframes on ebay are for mk3 does anyone know if the mk2 and mk3 use the same rear subframe thank you

Hi all, long time since I've been on here as touch wood have been enjoying many issue free miles in my Octavia. Last week whilst returning home from a local trip I suddenly got a warning light and a chime, Error: ABS/stabilisation control (ESC) several second later I got another, Error: Tyre Pressure Monitoring System several seconds later, another... Hi all, Sorry to be a pest. My old man bought a '12 plate 2.0 Diesel S back in 2019. He has enjoyed owning the car but no longer needs it for the flexibility it offered as he's retired and uses the car less and less (he used it like a little van). Ive been tasked with selling it. Does anyone have any recommendations for reasonably priced insurance companies outside of the comparison sites. Everyone said policies had gone up last year but mine was still ok, but it's gone up higher than I'd like this year. I'm in my 40's, driving for 27 years, full no claims. Maybe its the same for everyone but it feel like robbery when it's a 2010 car, Skoda superb elegance, TDI, DSG. When I bought it it was about £400, got it down to £185 and its back to £300

TL:DR - hi! superb 280: wet skiddy without quality back tyres? Hello everybody, New to the forum and owning a skoda. I've got a 2019 superb sportline 280 hatch. Are they known to get a bit unsettled at the back end in the wet? With the job I do I've driven both manual and dsg Haldex skodas (octavias and kodiaq), quite hard, and never experienced this. Granted the work cars are all diesel with Michelin crossclimates. I've had the car 2-3 months now and there's a bit of stuff in the boot. K
