Hi, I promised some time ago to post pics of my Superb after removal of the 18" Audi 9 spokes (ride was too hard) and refit of original 17" Solids, now in gold......

To be honest, I'm not sure whether I like them or not.... opinions, please?

I'm great fan of the 'Solid' wheels, always have been but I'm affraid they don't look good in Gold, sorry!.

Like the others have said though it takes someone brave like yourself to try these things, sometimes it works and sometimes it does'nt.

A no from me too I'm afraid. However the refurb on the alloys looks very good quality.

Nice try. It would work better if your bump strips were 'classic' style black instead of black with a chrome strip. Chrome next to gold doesn't quite work. Then there is too much chrome around the windows to get away with the gold even once you've done that.

It does make me want a Clio Williams though.

I'd like them {I think} if there was no chrome trim, but can't say I'm convinced tbh...

trouble is it looks like your trying to be an impreza. i don't think it looks bad as it is but the whole image doesn't work as it looks like your trying to be something your not. how about a chrome refurb of the wheels?
