My Octy has developed a creaking from the front nearside. It is more noticeable when moving off. The clutch doesn't creak when you pump the pedal, and there are no creaks fron the suspension when you push down on the wing. Could it be a dud engine mount? Are there any known problems with these? Or what else could it be?

ARB bushes ?????????????????

Bushes or if that does not sort it then a new ARB,sold a few in last few months

before you do any major work try this. skoda dealer said i had creaking bushs. but i fixed problem my self for free.take out dip stick put some oil on finger then rub on all the rubber stops around bonnet .noise gone. when you hear the noise try poppin the bonnet while still moving(but not at speed) & see if noise stops. if it does then thats the problem
